Job summary

The Eugene School District 4J seeks a dedicated Junior Varsity Head Coach for the 2026/2027 season. Under direction, you will assist in planning, development, and implementation of policies and procedures for an interscholastic athletic program, providing leadership and vision across all teams under your supervision.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of interscholastic coaching experience.
Knowledge of and compliance with OSAA rules and safety standards.
Background check clearance and district requirements.
First Aid/CPR certification and concussion management training.
Ability to lift 25 pounds and work with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, development, and implementation of athletic program policies and procedures.
Provide leadership and vision for the JV/secondary program and supervise teams.
Coordinate with school staff to ensure program alignment with district goals and regulations.
Support athletes’ growth, safety, and performance through motivational coaching.
