Job summary

Responsibilities include overseeing basketball operations, scheduling practices, coordinating transportation, enforcing rules, and supervising games and tournaments with assistants.

Qualifications

• High school coaching experience required.
• Knowledge of basketball rules and rule changes.
• Basketball philosophy, strategy, drills, biomechanics and first aid skills required.
• Teaching and motivational skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all matters relative to Basketball.
• Schedules practice sessions according to facility and equipment requirements.
• Coordinates transportation with the Athletic Department.
• Governs player conduct and follows established rules.
• Supervises, in cooperation with assistants, all practices, games, and tournaments.
• Oversees the use, care, and inventory of all equipment, including uniforms.
• Upholds academic eligibility requirements as directed by the Athletic Director.
