Qualifications

Demonstrates knowledge of the fundamental skills and techniques in basketball.
Demonstrates ability to teach, enforce, advocate and model appropriate behavior and values to student athletes.
Follows NFHS and CIF Coaches Codes of Conduct and procedures.

Responsibilities

Understand that academics are priority for student-athletes.
Develop team rules and communicate them to team and parents.
Provide schedules for practices, tournaments, and games.
Maintain CPR/First Aid certificates and TB clearance.
Be on time and prepared for all practices and games.
Communicate schedule changes promptly to athletes and parents.
Create a positive environment and manage team dynamics.
Explain policy and expectations to players and parents.
