Job summary

Tarrant County’s Juvenile Services is seeking an Intake Liaison Officer (Driver) to assist with daily operations, transport juveniles to pre-adjudication facilities, court hearings, and medical appointments, and manage fleet maintenance across county locations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years working with children/families, a valid Texas driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Strong communication and document handling skills required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of work with children/families preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and operate a vehicle fleet.

Responsibilities

• Transport in-custody and court-ordered juveniles to facilities and appointments.
• Maintain vehicle fleet records and coordinate with Central Garage.
• Deliver documents, mail, and supplies; obtain signatures as needed.
• Provide back-up support for Intake Services Secretary.
• Post board notices and manage placement information.
