Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; two years of work experience.
• First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Must pass extensive background check and mandatory drug testing.
• Position requires work in a 24-hour facility and potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Train, motivate, evaluate, and supervise residential staff and volunteers; assign duties; maintain attendance records.
• Develop, coordinate, and evaluate daily educational, therapeutic and/or recreational activities.
• Supervise operations and maintain proper staff-to-client ratio per licensing standards.
• Conduct inspections, searches, and ensure safety and security.
• Prepare reports and documentation in line with standards and procedures.
• Make critical decisions during emergencies; conduct crisis sessions and inform supervisor.
• Provide back-up duties (medication administration, transport, intake/discharge, discipline) as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
