Job summary

Macon County Mental Health Board is seeking a Juvenile Redeploy Therapist to provide comprehensive community-based mental health counseling and clinical support for justice-involved youth at risk of incarceration.

This role operates within the Illinois Redeploy program, delivering evidence-based therapeutic treatments to divert youths from Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice toward positive, community-centered rehabilitation. A Master's degree and IL licensure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or closely related field.
• Professional State Licensure in Illinois (LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based mental health counseling to justice-involved youth.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic treatments to divert youth from DJJ.
• Operate within the Illinois Redeploy program to promote community-centered rehabilitation.
