Job description

Responsibilities

• Supervise a caseload of juvenile youth.
• Enforce orders of the court and conditions of supervision.
• Review rules of probation supervision and special conditions with juvenile and family.
• Meet with juvenile in office and field.
• Investigate complaints about juvenile promptly.
• Prevent future delinquent acts and technical violations through evidence-based practices and supervision.
• Conduct investigations, prepare social/legal case histories, intake summaries, and probation updates.
• Transport juvenile to/from appointments, court hearings, community service projects, as well as placement facilities.
• Conduct drug and DNA tests.
• Place juvenile on electronic monitoring and monitor status.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, criminology, social work, sociology, psychology, or a related field.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license without infractions that would prevent hire.
