Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Public Safety is seeking a Youth Services Behavioral Specialist to join their team in North Carolina. In this full-time role, you will provide direct supervision and implement individual and group treatment plans for juveniles in a Youth Development Center.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree and the ability to manage positive relationships with youth. The position also includes varying work hours and participation in various training programs to support juvenile rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of applying the proper methods to physically restrain juveniles.
• Criminal background check required.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Implement individual and group treatment plans for juveniles.
• Provide direct supervision to youth in development centers.
• Maintain custody and safety of juveniles.
