Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a law enforcement officer.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for the general experience.
• Knowledge of state laws and regulations; investigative techniques.

Responsibilities

• Screen, review, prioritize and prepare incoming files.
• Ensure all case file information necessary for prosecuting is complete.
• Obtain relevant documentation (police reports, hospital records, toxicology reports).
• Locate individuals and prepare case synopsis for prosecutor.
• Respond to inquiries from victims regarding case progress.
