Larimer County District Attorney’s Office seeks a Diversion Specialist to work with juvenile offenders under SOMB standards. This grant-funded role focuses on youth who commit sexual offenses and are eligible for Diversion, with potential rotation to other caseloads.

Typical hours are 8 AM–5 PM, with possible telecommuting one day per week after a probation period; responsibilities include supervising youth, coordinating with attorneys, and maintaining records to support accountability and

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, or related field required.
• Two years’ experience in social work, criminal justice, counseling, or related field required.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license by date of hire required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess clients’ needs and risks, identify treatment, make referrals, adjust plans and track progress.
• Direct supervision of youth, including home and school visits, and case staffing; maintain records of compliance.
• Coordinate with supervising attorneys and victims’ advocates to ensure compliance with Victims’ Rights Amendment.
• Liaise between the District Attorney’s Office and schools, agencies, and treatment providers.
