The District Attorney's Office seeks a Diversion Specialist responsible for our juvenile offenders in accordance with the Colorado Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB) standards.
It is an exciting time to be in diversion, as we have increased our capacity and work with community partners to expand opportunities for those in the criminal justice system to take responsibility, support personal growth, and repair harm to the community. We are looking for individuals who want to work with juveniles to better themselves and prevent future unlawful behavior, and help make our community whole. We are considering applications from individuals who would handle a caseload primarily working with youth who commit sexual offenses and are eligible for Diversion. This position may rotate into a regular Juvenile Diversion or Adult Diversion caseload. This is a grant-funded position through the BHS fund in Larimer County.
The typical work hours are 8AM - 5PM, Monday through Friday. After a probationary period, telecommuting for one day a week may be available.
The District Attorney’s Office follows a blind hiring process. During the initial screening, hiring managers will only see your application, with your name and other identifying personal information redacted.
