This position requires leadership across shifts and adherence to policy frameworks. The incumbent will train and supervise staff, coordinate educational/therapeutic activities, conduct inspections, and handle emergency decisions.

Qualifications

• Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Two years of work-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Trains, motivates, evaluates, and supervises staff; assigns work and tracks attendance.
• Develops and evaluates daily educational, therapeutic and recreational programs.
• Supervises shifts, maintains staff-to-client ratios per licensing standards.
• Conducts inspections and searches as needed when contraband is suspected.
• Prepares reports and documents per applicable standards and procedures.
• Makes critical decisions during emergencies and informs supervisor of concerns.
• Serves as back-up to staff, performing tasks such as transporting youths and administering medications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
