Beginning wage is $22.00 per hour with Washington State Sick Leave benefits. The on-call, part-time position averages about 20 hours weekly, with shifts including days, nights, and weekends. Applicants must be 21+, have a high school diploma or GED, pass a background check including a polygraph, and be drug-free.

Juvenile Detention Relief Worker

Chelan County Juvenile Center is seeking positive and motivated team members. The on-call position averages 20 hours per week, although hours are not guaranteed. The position provides for the programming and supervision of incarcerated youth, as well as facility safety and security. Applicant must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, be able to complete a background investigation including a polygraph examination, and be drug-free. Although post-secondary education and experience are not required, two years of college is preferred. Ability to speak English and Spanish is a plus. Individuals with flexible life or work schedules who are available for all shifts, including dayshift, nightshift, and weekends encouraged to apply.
