The role requires extensive experience in juvenile detention settings, strong leadership, and ability to manage budgets, purchasing, reporting, and cross-agency collaboration. Travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a juvenile correctional facility.
• At least 3 years of experience supervising staff and evaluating performance.
• Willingness to work overtime with little or no notice.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing, and managing overall operations of the Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
• Developing and implementing operating procedures to ensure compliance with policy and quality standards.
• Managing purchasing, internal fiscal controls, and inventory; coordinating with other agencies.
