Job summary

The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Administrative Office of the Courts, invites applications for Court Designated Worker - SHIFT in Louisville. This on-site position supports juvenile justice through intake, screening, diversion, and case management, with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a job-related field such as human services, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, or related field.
• At least 1 year of job-related experience with youth and families or juvenile justice.
• Two additional years of job-related work experience may substitute for the associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Process juvenile intakes and generate complaints.
• Conduct interviews and complete risk and needs screening.
• Determine eligibility for diversion and develop intervention strategies.
• Provide case management and coordinate referrals to community resources and treatment providers.
• Travel within the assigned service area and statewide as needed.
• Maintain accurate case records and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with courts, schools, law enforcement, and families.
