Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year as Juvenile Correctional Officer Sergeant (PSP223) or two years of military experience at E-5 or higher.
• Must possess and maintain GA POST certification within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains custody and care of youth per DJJ policies.
• Supervises and plans work of assigned staff.
• Ensures safety and secure environment for youth and staff.
• Completes administrative paperwork and reports.
• Oversees contraband searches and inspections.
