Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and license to practice law in Oklahoma.
• Active membership of the Oklahoma Bar Association.
• Two, five, or seven years of legal/adjudicative experience depending on level (I–IV).
• Experience may include litigation and agency-defined practice areas.

Responsibilities

• Appear in juvenile matters and child support hearings in Tulsa district court.
• Prepare and file pleadings and try child support-related hearings in district and administrative courts.
• Consult and negotiate with other attorneys and customers of Oklahoma Child Support Services; interpret laws and policy.
• Train and assist staff with preparation of legal documents and ensure ethical compliance.
