Commonwealth of Kentucky's Administrative Office of the Courts is seeking a Court Designated Worker - SHIFT in Taylor County. This role handles intake, assessment, diversion, and case management for youth and families in Kentucky's juvenile justice system, on rotating shifts with travel as needed.

The position requires an associate degree and at least one year of related experience, with opportunities to substitute two more years of experience for the degree.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a job-related field.
• One (1) year of job-related experience with youth and families in human services, criminal justice, or juvenile justice.
• Two (2) additional years of work experience may substitute for the associate degree.
• Substitute education or experience is not available.

Responsabilités

• Process juvenile intakes, enter referrals and generate complaints.
• Conduct interviews and complete risk and needs screening.
• Determine eligibility for diversion and develop intervention strategies.
• Develop diversion agreements and monitor compliance with program requirements.
• Provide case management and coordinate referrals to resources and treatment providers.
• Maintain accurate case records and prepare reports and court documents.
• Travel within the service area and statewide as needed.
• Support early intervention efforts to reduce juvenile court involvement.
