JUSTIS Senior IS Business Analyst - Department of Technology (1053)

The Department of Technology (DT) is seeking a Senior IS Business Analyst for the JUSTIS program, which modernizes infrastructure and facilitates real-time data sharing among criminal justice agencies in San Francisco.

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining the data exchange HUB, working with system architects and developers to enhance integration interfaces, and ensuring compliance with data protection and security laws.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and maintaining server-side components using PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, Python, Java, etc.
• Creating and managing database objects in Oracle databases.
• Implementing data exchange using JSON, SOAP, and XML.
• Developing reports and data visualizations with PowerBI.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure system functionality and security.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years in the information systems field, including system analysis and project management.

Preferred skills include knowledge of Oracle SQL, Python, Java, HTML, CSS, and experience with criminal justice systems.

Work Environment & Schedule:

Majority of work at 1 South Van Ness, San Francisco. Hybrid schedule with at least four days in-office per week, with occasional travel within the city.

Compensation:

$126,958 to $159,744 annually.
