Job summary

Southwind, the owner of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, is hiring a Site Sales & Laborer in Ashland, VA to join the Field Sales & Service Team. This role combines on-site selling with hands-on item removal, requiring an energetic, dependable and customer-focused individual who can drive and operate a box truck.

Pay is $24-30/hr+ with overtime as needed; shifts cover 6:30 AM–10:00 PM and include a weekend day. DOT medical certification is required and provided by Southwind.

Overview:1-800-GOT-JUNK? is hiring a Site Sales & Laborer to join our team! This is a physically active, customer-facing role where you'll provide on-site estimates, close sales, and remove unwanted items for our customers. We're hiring ambitious, outgoing and active individuals who are committed to providing exceptional customer experiences.

Location: Ashland, VA serving the greater Richmond area! Pay: $24-30/hr+ ($13 base + Profit Sharing + Tips)-Overtime as needed.

• 1 mandatory weekend shift
• 3–4 weekday shifts
• Shifts run 8–12 hours and may fall anywhere between 6:30 AM – 10:00 PM, depending on business
  needs
• Must maintain availability for 4 weekdays + 1 weekend day every week

No prior junk removal experience required — Participate in daily recorded role-play scenarios to
support ongoing training, skill development, and performance improvement - we train you.

• Branded Polo (Provided)
• Branded Ball Cap or Beanie (Provided)
• Sweatshirt (Provided)
• Navy BLUE work pants or shorts

Company-Wide Standards (Required for All Roles):

• DOT Medical Certification

• A valid DOT Medical Card is required for driving commercial vehicles.
• Southwind covers the full cost of obtaining your DOT Medical Certification.
