Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Bus and Zero Emissions Consultant based in Boston, MA. You will join the Infrastructure group and support global offices while collaborating with project teams to plan, design, and implement rail, bus, and paratransit solutions for zero-emission fleets.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates with relevant internships or co-op experience, possessing strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to work in an office-centric environment with some field time.

Qualifications

• Recently graduated or soon-to-be graduate with relevant skills.
• Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in planning, electrical engineering, environmental science, architecture, or a relevant field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Support projects transitioning fleets or infrastructure to zero emissions technologies.
• Provide technical support to cross-discipline teams for rail, bus and paratransit solutions.
• Design infrastructure like charging systems and maintenance facilities for zero emissions fleets.
• Assess impacts of electrifying large fleets with utilities.
• Develop cost estimates and life cycle analyses for bus operations.
