Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Bus and Zero Emissions Intern for our Infrastructure group in Boston, MA. You will support global offices and gain hands-on experience in transitioning fleets and infrastructure to zero emissions while contributing to vehicle and infrastructure planning projects.

You are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in planning, electrical engineering, environmental science, architecture, or a related field, with a 3.0 GPA minimum.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in planning, electrical engineering, environmental science, architecture, or a related field
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Responsibilities

• Support projects related to transitioning fleets or infrastructure to zero emissions technologies
• Work with utilities to assess the impacts of electrifying large fleets
• Support bus and rail vehicle operational plans and related project elements including vehicle performance analysis and maintenance infrastructure plans
• Develop specifications and commercial terms for new vehicle and infrastructure procurements
• Conduct fleet assessment and transition studies
• Prepare technical documents/reports for clients, project teams, etc.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in planning, electrical engineering, environmental science, architecture, or related field

GPA 3.0+ (4.0 scale)
