Job summary
CGI Federal is seeking a Jr. Web Developer in Harrisburg, PA, to support the Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS).
The role involves building, enhancing, and maintaining web interfaces and client/server apps, gathering requirements from internal teams and customers, and porting legacy functionality to modern browser-based environments. You will work with internal teams to develop pages, refine requirements, and sustain day-to-day development with limited supervision.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in scripting, software development, and web page design and development.
- Experience with SharePoint Online (SPO) or DreamWeaver.
- Proficiency with HTML, XML, PERL, and/or Apache.
- Certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- Associate degree in Computer Science or related field.
- US citizenship and a Secret clearance required.
- Strong customer relations skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop middle to high end client/server based applications supporting ELMS functionality.
- Design, develop, and maintain web pages and port legacy apps into modern web interfaces.
- Interface with clients and system users to gather and refine requirements.
- Perform development and web design tasks with minimal supervision.
- Support ongoing updates, enhancements, and testing for ELMS sustainment.
