Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) is seeking a career-minded Water/Wastewater engineer to join our Mid-Atlantic practice. You will lead design efforts for sewer/water projects, coordinate with a design team, prepare specifications and cost estimates, and support client meetings as part of a growing, ESOP-owned firm.

The position requires a ABET-accredited engineering degree and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, ArcGIS and MS Project, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Eng from ABET-accredited university.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, ArcGIS and MS Project.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and prepare submittal reports.
• Coordinate with design teams and other disciplines.
• Develop design documents and cost estimates.
• Attend client meetings and take minutes.
• Ensure designs comply with codes and client specs.
• Provide technical oversight within the department.
