Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Entry Level Water Engineer in Clifton Park, NY to join our water team. You will work with experienced professionals on projects involving water treatment, wastewater, and stormwater, gaining hands-on design, analysis, and field experience.

Proficiency with CAD/AutoCAD/Revit and HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS is helpful; EIT within one year and a Civil/Environmental degree is preferred. This is an excellent starting point for a career in sustainable design and engineering with Arcadis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or a closely related engineering discipline).
• Ability to obtain EIT within one year of hire.
• Prior work/internship experience at a design or consulting engineering firm or municipal work environment (preferred).
• Familiarity with CAD, AutoCAD, Revit (preferred).
• EIT certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering design for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
• Support project management including scopes and budgets.
• Perform fieldwork such as site visits, sampling, and inspections.
• Use CAD/AutoCAD/Revit and hydrology/hydraulic software to support project tasks.
