Job summary

Arcadis, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, seeks a Water Resources Engineer for Syracuse, NY. You will evaluate and design water and wastewater projects, collaborate with clients, and advance sustainable solutions with our team.

The role includes field visits, sampling, data analysis, and assisting during construction with RFIs and permit closeouts. A BS in Civil/Environmental Eng and EIT (within 6 months) are required or anticipated.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, design and support management of water/wastewater projects.
• Conduct fieldwork: site visits, inspections, sample collection, water quality analysis.
• Assist during construction: observation, review of shop drawings, RFIs, permit closeouts.
• Coordinate with manufacturers' reps and contractors; support asset management data analytics and condition assessments.
