Job summary

You will perform routine editing tasks, follow established workflows, and contribute to daily or postproduction content under guidance from senior editors.

The role emphasizes learning through structured hands-on experience, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with editors, producers, and partners to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of editing or related experience.
• Working knowledge of non-linear editing software (Adobe Premiere, Avid, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite applications (After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and structured editing assignments using non‑linear editing software in support of daily or postproduction content needs in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Edits content in accordance with existing procedures, naming conventions, SOPs, and high‑quality standards.
• Conducts basic quality control checks and makes standard corrective adjustments to ensure ESPN’s content meets high standards.
• Communicates clearly with editors, producers, and partners to ensure success of assignments and accomplishments.
• Works collaboratively within the Edit team and follows direction to meet deadlines and production objectives.
• Participates in assigned training and development opportunities to build technical skills and workflow knowledge.
