Job summary

ESPN Creative Studio, part of ESPN's Content division, seeks an entry-level Associate Editor in Bristol, CT. The role supports Creative Daily or Post Editorial, developing foundational video editing skills and contributing reliably to team-driven production in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include routine edits, following established workflows, and collaborating with editors and producers to meet tight deadlines. Training will build technical and creative proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of editing or related experience.
• Working knowledge of non-linear editing software (Premiere, Avid, Edius, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite applications (After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Basic understanding of broadcast video and audio quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to follow direction and perform effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 and Teams.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and adjusted schedules as required by production needs.

• Works collaboratively within the Edit team and follows direction to meet assigned deadlines and production objectives.
• Participates in assigned training and development opportunities to build technical skills, workflow knowledge, and creative proficiency.

The hiring range for this position in Bristol, CT is $63,700.00 to $87,500.00 per year based on a 40‑hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
