Job summary
Enterprise Electrical is seeking an entry-level VDC BIM Designer to support BIM/CAD deliverables for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical construction projects. Under supervision, you will learn drafting standards, electrical coordination, and model management while building foundational knowledge of BIM workflows.
You will develop 3D models, basic layout drawings, and shop drawings, assist with redlines, document control, and project meetings.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical certification in CAD or related field.
- 0-2 years CAD/BIM drafting or modeling experience.
- Basic proficiency with AutoCAD and exposure to Autodesk Revit/Navisworks.
- Understanding of BIM and CAD principles within construction environments.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and construction documents with guidance.
Responsibilities
- Develop BIM and CAD models for electrical systems under supervision.
- Produce basic layout drawings and installation documentation.
- Support 2D/3D drawings using Autodesk software.
- Maintain organized project files and document control.
- Assist with clash detection and coordination.
