Job summary

My Funded Futures is seeking an Accounting Associate focused on Treasury & Financial Reporting. You will support monthly closes, cash management, and financial reporting across multiple entities, partnering with senior finance leaders to strengthen controls and scalability.

The role targets early-career accountants with Big Four exposure who want to grow in treasury, reporting, and process improvement within a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting with a Big Four or national firm.
• CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting fundamentals.
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in treasury operations, cash management, and financial operations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar systems preferred.
• Experience in fintech or multi-entity organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate items.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and schedules.
• Maintain general ledger activity and workpapers.
• Support consolidated financial reporting for audit-readiness.
• Assist with tax schedules and regulatory reporting.
• Monitor daily cash activity and support treasury operations.
• Prepare cash reports and liquidity schedules.
• Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Support process improvements and internal controls.
