Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Transit & Rail Engineer to join our Washington, DC or Tysons, VA offices. The role focuses on assisting with design, project management, fieldwork, and documentation for high-profile rail projects along the corridor.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil Engineering with 0–1 year in rail design and is eager to learn AREMA practices. EIT is preferred or obtainable within six months, with a hybrid work environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• BS in Civil Engineering required or in progress.
• 0–1 year of railroad/rail transit design experience preferred.
• EIT preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Assist on design and project management tasks for transit and rail projects.
• Support fieldwork, design, and documentation across project stages.
• Prepare and document meetings with the design team, clients and stakeholders.
• Draft project details using MicroStation or AutoCAD and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
