Job summary

Ferrovial in Manassas, VA, seeks a Traffic & Revenue Trainee to gain exposure to data analysis, sketch modeling and pricing strategy for the I-66 project. You will learn how insights shape pricing and customer-facing strategies while developing data storytelling capabilities.

The role requires a Master’s preferred in Transportation (or Civil Engineering) and strong Excel, Power BI, Tableau, ArcGIS, TransCAD, Python and SQL skills to analyze traffic and socioeconomic data for business

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in Transportation; Civil Engineering is acceptable.
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Tableau and ArcGIS.
• Experience with data analysis, econometrics or data mining is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Combine multiple datasets to perform ad-hoc trend analyses.
• Develop forecast models for potential business development opportunities.
• Define and analyze traffic data collection programs including counts, surveys and polls.
• Prepare memos examining trends and travel patterns within regions of interest.
• Evaluate feasibility of additional traffic data collection and market research.
