Beacon Hill, a growing regional litigation firm in Pittsburgh, is seeking an associate with 2+ years of litigation experience to join our team. The practice focuses on general liability and insurance defense for major insurers and businesses, offering substantial hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will handle diverse defense matters, manage cases through discovery and depositions, and work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong writing and advocacy skills.
• Excellent case management and organizational abilities.
• Active PA bar admission required.
• Additional regional bar admissions are a plus.

The practice represents major insurers, businesses, and other clients in a broad range of civil defense matters and offers substantial hands-on litigation experience in a collaborative, down-to-earth environment.

What You'll Do

• Handle a variety of general liability and insurance defense matters
• Manage cases through discovery, motion practice, depositions, and resolution
• Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses
• Take on meaningful responsibility and client-facing work from day one

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of litigation experience
• Experience in a law firm environment with billable-hour requirements
• Insurance defense experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong writing, advocacy, and case management skills
• Active PA bar admission required
• Additional regional bar admissions are a plus
