Job summary

Jabil in Prince George, VA is seeking a test engineering professional to design, develop and maintain test procedures and tester hardware/software for electronic circuit board production at an on-site facility.

Responsibilities include reviewing designs for testability, supporting manufacturing with failure analysis and tester debugging, documenting procedures from design through initial production, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with ISO and QS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and data.
• Experience with test procedure development and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review circuit board designs for testability requirements.
• Support manufacturing with failure analysis, tester debugging, reduction of downtime of test equipment.
• Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation from design through initial production.
• Generate reports and analysis of test data and prepare technical reports.
• Review test equipment designs, data and RMA issues with customers.
• Design and direct engineering in fabrication of testing equipment.
• Calibrate instruments and control devices for testing.
• Determine test conditions and sequences of operations.
• Provide training in new procedures to production testing staff.
