Whirlwind Steel is seeking a motivated recent college graduate to join as an Entry-Level Territory Manager, launching a career in sales, customer relationships, and business development. You will learn products, customers, and sales processes while working with experienced professionals, building relationships, managing orders, and developing skills to oversee a sales territory.

Qualifications

• Recent college graduate or graduating senior with a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated by goals, challenges, and opportunities to learn.

Responsibilities

• Learn Whirlwind Steel's products, services, sales processes, and customer base.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with current customers and prospects.
• Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding orders, projects, questions, and product needs.
• Assist the District Sales Manager with developing new business and strengthening existing customer relationships.
• Follow up with customers throughout the sales and order process to provide a high level of service.
• Work toward individual and team sales goals while learning how to grow an assigned territory.
• Learn to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Enter and maintain accurate customer, prospect, and order information in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with internal departments to help ensure customer orders and projects are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Develop an understanding of the metal building industry and how our products support our customers' needs.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to build sales, product, and business knowledge.
• Represent Whirlwind Steel professionally and demonstrate our commitment to customer service.
• Take on increasing responsibility as knowledge, skills, and confidence develop.
