Job summary

The Olympic Club in San Francisco is seeking a Junior Tennis Coordinator to develop and run the club's comprehensive junior tennis program. You will work with the Tennis Director, lead junior events, and manage tournaments while coordinating billing, reservations, and catering for junior activities.

Ideal candidates will have playing experience at a high level, coaching chops across all ages, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Division one playing experience and active 5.0+ level.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• USPTA, PTR, ITF certification or pursuing within 6 months.
• Coaching experience with all levels of adult players.
• Able to teach multiple hours of lessons daily.
• Dynamic and present member of the club’s tennis staff.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Degree in a related field or private clubs/ hotels experience.

Responsibilities

• Co-manages the tennis department in the Director’s absence.
• Promotes tennis events and junior programs.
• Develops and implements the Junior Tennis Program.
• Helps manage Junior Tennis program and teams.
• Manages junior tournaments and events.
• Operates payroll, reservations, inventory and other systems used in tennis.
• Maintain tennis teaching equipment and teams with the maintenance crew.
• Teach lessons and clinics; occasionally play with members and guests.
• Manage billing procedures for junior programming.
