Job summary

Socomec Group in North America seeks a Jr. Technical Sales Support Engineer to assist Sales, Reps, and customers by answering technical questions, providing resources, and analyzing applications to recommend suitable products.

You will train colleagues, troubleshoot field issues, deliver technical presentations, and support marketing with technical collateral. Up to 30% travel across North America and to the France HQ may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Electrical preferred.
• 1-2 years of related technical experience.
• CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Multilingual skills (French or Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Answer technical inquiries from clients and internal staff via Email-to-Case ticketing.
• Develop accurate product recommendations from customer applications.
• Train and onboard professionals on the Socomec product portfolio.
• Troubleshoot issues by referencing manuals and diagnostics.
• Deliver seminars/webinars to clients and sales teams.
• Prepare reports for remote support and customer calls.
