Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. seeks a Junior Technical Program Manager to coordinate software and AI initiatives from requirements through release. You will partner with experienced program managers and tech leads to support cross-functional delivery and turn discussions into concrete action plans.

You will gradually take ownership of smaller projects, assist with backlog refinement, and help manage scope, milestones, risks, and QA readiness across engineering, product, and data teams.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of PMBOK concepts: scope, schedule, risk, stakeholders, change management.
• Understanding of agile principles, scrum, and kanban fundamentals.
• Solid SDLC understanding including development, testing, deployment, operations.
• Foundational AI knowledge including LLMs, prompting, and evaluation of outputs.
• Strong written and verbal communication across diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate project goals into scope, milestones, and actionable plans with maintained logs and status updates.
• Coordinate work across engineering, product, QA, and other teams with clear ownership and handover.
• Track delivery progress, identify blockers, and escalate risks with context and next steps.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews with team leads.
• Clarify requirements and acceptance criteria, surface questions, and track scope changes.
• Support AI delivery activities, data tracking, integration dependencies, and privacy/security reviews.

We are seeking a Junior Technical Program Manager to coordinate software and AI initiatives from initial requirements through release.
