Job summary

Emslie Technical Solutions LLC in Centennial, CO is seeking a Junior Technical Designer to translate 3D design models into sheet sets and CNC deliverables using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. The role reports to the Technical Design Lead and offers hands-on training and a clear path to growth within our small, project-driven team.

Responsibilities include finalizing unit naming, creating sheet sets, inspecting CNC files, and assisting design leads.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1-3 years drafting experience with AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Familiar with carpentry, metalwork, paint, laminate finishes; general electrics and LED systems.

Responsibilities

• Finalize naming conventions for units and sort into assemblies.
• Create Build and Install Sheet Sets in Inventor; include project data.
• Ensure sheet sets follow internal style guide and narrative.
• Prepare and inspect initial CNC vector files with accurate geometry.
• Assist leads in modeling per instruction.
