Job summary

Emslie Technical Solutions LLC in Centennial, CO is seeking a Technical Designer for an in-person drafting role. You will take 3D design models from Technical Design leads and create sheet sets and CNC deliverables using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD; familiarity with these tools is required, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–4 years drafting experience with AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Knowledge of carpentry, metalwork, finishes, electrics and LED systems preferred.
• Familiarity with set fabrication techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Finalize naming conventions for units and sort units into assemblies.
• Create Build and Install Sheet Sets in Inventor and include project information.
• Ensure sheet sets follow internal style guide and narrative.
• Prepare and inspect CNC vector files with accurate geometry.
• Assist Design Leads with modeling when needed.
