Job summary

Objectway in Milan is seeking a Junior Technical Delivery Engineer to join our Digital Experience team and support end-to-end delivery of SaaS solutions for wealth management clients.

You will assist with deployment, configuration, UAT, go-live and post-go-live support, working across Delivery, DevOps and Support in an international SaaS environment.

This hands-on role suits those who enjoy technical execution, troubleshooting and collaboration with client teams in regulated financial services.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in technical support, software delivery or implementation for enterprise software.
• Good exposure to Linux OS and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Reading and reasoning about Java / Spring Boot or JVM stack for debugging.

Responsibilities

• Follow the implementation lifecycle from analysis to deployment across customer environments.
• Assist with deployment/configuration on Docker/Kubernetes and AWS services.
• Support customers through UAT, go-live and post-go-live maintenance.
• Collaborate with client IT, security and compliance teams during banking/wealth management implementations.
• Perform troubleshooting in production with logs, APM and observability dashboards.

Junior Technical Delivery Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Technical Delivery Engineer to join our Digital Experience team and support the end‑to‑end delivery of our SaaS solutions for wealth management and financial institutions.

In this role you will contribute to the implementation and operational support of our products across customer environments, working with the product team through different phases—from solution analysis, in collaboration with business analysts, through deployment, go‑live and post‑production support—ensuring high‑quality delivery.

This is a hands‑on role ideal for those who enjoy technical execution, troubleshooting and collaboration in an international SaaS environment. You will work across Delivery, DevOps and Support activities.

Main Responsibilities

• Follow the implementation lifecycle of one or more projects, including project analysis, solution configuration, deployment on customer environments (cloud and, where applicable, on‑premise).
• Assist with the application deployment and configuration on container‑based environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and AWS services.
• Support customers throughout the project lifecycle, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), go‑live and post‑go‑live evolutive maintenance.
• Collaborate with client technical teams (IT, security, compliance teams) during implementation, with particular attention to the requirements of banking and wealth management clients.
• Execute troubleshooting in production, analysing structured logs, APM tools, distributed traces and observability platforms (OpenTelemetry, Grafana stack).
• Contribute to incident analysis and root‑cause investigation, working closely with the product development team.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and implementation playbooks to standardise and scale delivery processes.
• Work in synergy with the product development team to feedback operational insights in a collaborative perspective of product improvement.

Required Skills – Technical

• 2–4 years of experience in technical support, software delivery or implementation activities for enterprise software solutions.
• Good technical background with proven experience in Linux OS and microservices architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration on Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server or equivalent).
• Familiarity with cloud environments, ideally AWS.
• Ability to read and reason about application code and logs (Java / Spring Boot or equivalent JVM stack) for troubleshooting purposes – no active feature development is required.
• Experience troubleshooting issues in production, including incident triage, log analysis and coordination with development teams.
• Experience with observability tooling: structured logging, APM, distributed tracing, dashboards (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry or comparable stacks).
• Good working knowledge of Italian and fluent English.

Required Skills – Delivery & Customer‑Facing

• Good understanding of Agile / Scrum principles and of typical SaaS delivery lifecycles.
• Hands‑on and collaborative attitude, with willingness to learn and support different project activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non‑technical client stakeholders.
• Structured, root‑cause oriented problem‑solving mindset.
• Awareness of working in a regulated environment, with attention to security and data protection good practices (ISO 27001, GDPR).

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in financial services, wealth management, banking or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Helm).
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python) for diagnostics and lightweight automation.
• Relevant certifications (AWS, Kubernetes / CKA, ITIL).

The potential yearly base pay range for this role is as follows:

• Entry‑level: €38,000 – €42,000
• Junior‑level: €42,000 – €48,000

The actual final compensation package and CCNL level may vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to, job‑related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education and experience.
