Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a well-qualified Systems Security Engineer I (P1) to join our SSE team in developing solutions to protect the Warfighter’s technology advantage. This onsite role emphasizes cyber security, software assurance and supply chain risk management for embedded weapons systems.

Typical duties include analyzing cybersecurity data, creating patch media, and validating configurations with DoD tools. The position requires a STEM degree and ability to obtain clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis on cybersecurity collected data and test results.
• Create patch artifacts and run regression tests on the system.
• Validate secure configurations of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and software using approved tools.
• Create and maintain Linux Bash and Python scripts.
