Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar discipline.
• 1+ years of experience deploying and maintaining server operating systems within a secure Federal environment.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Proficiency in Windows Server installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• The candidate will work with a team of system administrators and security professionals to deploy, configure, and maintain secure Windows and Linux systems.
• Maintain secure application and database servers in accordance with DISA STIGs.
• Work with software developers to deploy applications from development servers to production environments.
• Configure web servers to host a variety of applications.
• Administer and SQL Server databases.
• Develop and execute SQL scripts, backup and restore databases, and manage database permissions.
• Assist with managing organization cloud-based resources and support developers' access to applications and workspaces.
• Support the physical security team as needed by managing access tokens and performing routine security checks and other tasks.
