Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. seeks a Systems Engineer for an onsite contractor role at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. The engineer will develop and refine threat models, support MBSE activities, and deliver validated models that meet stakeholder requirements.

Responsibilities include modeling missile signatures, collaborating with engineering teams to enhance automation, and ensuring timely delivery for government programs. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold U.S. citizenship and an active clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution with 2+ years of relevant experience (or a Master’s degree with 0+ years).
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as CAMEO or similar.
• Familiarity with the Systems Engineering V-Model, requirements decomposition, verification, and validation.
• Experience with requirements traceability and systems engineering processes.
• Experience with modeling, simulation, and automation.
• Familiarity with missile system flight characteristics, motion, and performance.
• Exposure to RCS and infrared signature modeling and thermal/heating effects on signatures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine threat model phenomenology for missile trajectories and signatures.
• Support RCS and IR signature model development.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into high-quality model deliverables.
• Collaborate to improve automation, tools, and modeling efficiency.
• Support verification and validation of models and deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineers to ensure requirements alignment and timely model delivery.
