Job summary

Amentum is seeking junior engineers to support DARPA’s Tactical Technology Office (TTO) programs. This full-time, on-site role in the Ballston area of Arlington, VA involves assisting Government Program Managers and IPTs on technology demonstration programs and preparation of program documentation.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, 3 years of experience in technology assessment or R&D support, and an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
• 3 years’ experience in technology assessment for military system applications.
• At least one year of technical experience supporting R&D programs.
• Active Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• US citizenship required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Strong writing skills; highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work on-site, full-time at DARPA in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

• Provide SETA to DARPA in advanced technology, research, and prototype demonstration programs.
• Provide technical support to DARPA PMs, performers, IPTs, and R&D communities across industry, academia, and government.
• Identify, develop, and implement new program concepts.
• Perform independent technical assessments of new technologies and system designs.
