Primex Clinical Laboratories Inc is seeking a Systems Analyst I to join our IT team at the Van Nuys site. The role focuses on daily IT operations, inventory, frontline help desk support, and basic troubleshooting of hardware and software in a lab environment.

The ideal candidate has a solid Windows and networking foundation and is eager to learn, reporting to the IT Manager. On-site position with opportunities to contribute to LIS-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field preferred.
• Experience with Windows OS and MS Office.
• Basic networking knowledge and scripting (PowerShell) a plus.
• Familiarity with LIS or medical records systems preferred.
• Willingness to learn SchuyLab LIS and HL7 interfacing.

Responsibilities

• IT Inventory Management: track all IT assets and assist procurement.
• Help Desk Support: respond to IT issues and user tickets.
• Hardware & Software Troubleshooting: diagnose and resolve common issues.
• Network & Connectivity Tasks: assist in basic LAN/Wi‑Fi troubles.
• Fax and Portal Monitoring: ensure fax/physician portal uptime.
• LIS Support: monitor SchuyLab LIS interfaces and data entry tasks.
• General IT Support Duties: onboarding, documentation, and process upkeep.
