Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator I to support our Windows-based server environment and related IT systems. The role involves upgrading, maintaining, and admining PCs and servers, plus assisting users and ensuring data security and backups.

Responsibilities include configuring hardware, managing CAD/database/office tools, and supporting engineering/manufacturing teams with electronic access to project files. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher degree in Information Technology, or equivalent academic/technical training.
• Three years related experience or combination of experience in computer system basics and/or related areas of expertise.
• Basic knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems.
• Experience with MS Windows Server environments and CAD, database, MS Office and Web-enabled applications.
• Ability to update or repair computer systems.
• Strong planning/organizing skills and ability to work under deadlines.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Must possess a valid, state-issued driver’s license.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Makes upgrades, expands and/or maintains existing PC computer systems and provides admin support for Windows-based servers.
• Provides problem solving of specific issues to computer users as required.
• Maintains MS Windows Server for security, access, configuration and backups.
• Installs latest drivers and ensures devices work properly.
• Organizes and secures directory structures and performs data recovery as required.
• Supports engineering and manufacturing customers with electronic access and printing of project files.
• Serves as POC for problem reporting and monitors annual support contracts.
