Job summary

Tyme Maidu Tribe seeks an entry-level Systems Administrator to assist the Senior System Administrator with the administration, functionality, and maintenance of all computerized systems. Training and system access will be provided at the IT Director's discretion.

The role involves supporting the corporate network, server hardware/software, and participating in IT project design, testing, and implementation while providing user support and after-hours responses as needed.

Qualifications

Two years of IT experience is required.
Knowledge of Cisco switching, wireless, and telephony technologies.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012–2019.
Must be A+ and N+ certified.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to coordinate internal and outsourced resources.
Knowledge of casino gaming and hospitality systems.
MCSE and CCNA certifications highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist the Senior System Administrator with maintaining server hardware and software.
Help administer and secure the corporate network.
Participate in design, testing, and implementation of IT projects.
Provide direct technical support to users at all levels.
Respond to after-hours support requests to ensure core systems function.
Troubleshoot desktop issues and work with vendors to optimize systems.
Log daily workload in the work order tracking system.
