Job summary

Flexcar is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator in El Monte, CA to support a secure, modern IT environment. You will gain hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, endpoint management, and internal IT operations.

You will help manage Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, and patching while supporting IT and security teams to keep systems up and running. This is an onsite role with comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in progress/completed or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Entra ID.
• Familiarity with Intune or other MDM platforms.
• Understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of RCA (root cause analysis) methodologies.
• Experience troubleshooting systems or user issues.
• Strong communication and willingness to learn.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to Flexcar locations.
• Entry-level certifications (A+, Network+) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Entra ID environments.
• Assist IT support team with Intune configuration, troubleshooting, and device management.
• Help manage patching processes across endpoints and infrastructure.
• Manage and resolve support tickets, including escalated technical issues.
• Monitor systems and respond to alerts in a NOC-style environment.
• Review security alerts and assist with incident response.
• Assist with firewall, VPN, and network security configurations.
• Troubleshoot cloud, endpoint, and network issues.
• Support SaaS applications and integrations.
• Maintain documentation for procedures and changes.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure uptime and stability.
