Job summary

Prowess Consulting is seeking a junior System Administrator/System/Test Engineer to join our Seattle-area team. The role supports benchmarking, hardware stress testing, and scripting across Python/PowerShell/Bash environments in a Pacific Time Zone collaboration model.

The position is part-time, hourly and can be remote, with 3–5 days/week interaction with the Bellevue office; candidates reside in the greater Seattle area preferred. U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field required.
• 2+ years’ experience with AWS/Azure/GCP/Oracle cloud.
• 2+ years scripting with Python and Batch/Shell.
• Ability to write concise technical documentation.
• Must work in Pacific Time Zone.

Responsibilities

• Researching, testing, development and writing in support of benchmarking, and testing.
• Running publicly available hardware benchmarks and tracking results.
• Running provided Python/PowerShell/Bash/Shell scripts or interactive steps to stress test server infrastructure hardware.
